### What types of submissions are eligible for publication? expand\_more

*Persephone* accepts undergraduate scholarship, such as essays, compositions, translations, linguistic commentaries, and shortened theses (though note that this is not an all-inclusive list). In addition, original artwork, photography, and poetry are accepted for review. All submissions must pertain to the ancient world. Applicants are welcome to submit more than one piece for consideration.

### How should my submission be formatted? expand\_more

For general submissions, there are no specific requirements with regards to submission length, spacing, font, etc. However, **citations should be formatted in Chicago style, and all identifying information (name, school, etc.) should be omitted. Text should be submitted in a Word document.** If submitting a thesis, please submit a stand-alone chapter or excerpt: due to limited space, we cannot publish full versions. Participants should be aware that all submissions may be shortened or formatted differently according to the journal's needs and specifications.

### Who can submit their work to Persephone? expand\_more
